       trend phrases in sports talk

       seems like there is a new one each year. i hear MANY sports
       analysts on tv and radio saying "having said that" while trying
       to link to ideas together. i realize this is a proper way to
       speak, but it seems like they make a point to use the phrase.
       has anyone else noticed this? at first i thought i was just
       going crazy (i question myself constantly) but I have heard some
       of them saying it two sometimes even three times while still
       trying to make the same point. it\'s seriously like it\'s
       becoming a trend while talking about sports. odd... listen for
