if we got all this money here why are so many people on the
street?
and with all this technology why is it such a struggle just to
eat?
if we got all this love to give, why do we get so stuck in
feeling hate?
and if we\'re all made all just the same, why is it so hard
sometimes to relate?
It takes a group like you and me
to overcome hypocracy
it takes a certain will of steel
to think beyond your next meal
if we see a problem starting, do we have let it come to boil?
If we can use the wind and sun what business do we have with all
this oil?
If we know peace is the way, why are we so quick to go to war?
could someone explain to me, exactly what it is were fighting
for?
It takes a group like you and me
to make a true democracy
it takes a certain will of steel
to think beyond your next meal
as i look around me
i see people ready for change
if you read the papers
it\'ll only flush your hope down the drain
but without no tv
i see things in a different light
i breathe the fresh air
as i gaze at stars in the warm warm night
the world is see without has me feeling doubt
the world i see within, renews my faith again
People will do what they will
there\'s trouble brewing on the hill
let\'s line up and with our force
we\'ll steer this ship back on its course
widows cry your final tears
we\'ll end this war in coming years
their terror acts we cant control
but at least we can stop our own,
is there something i can do
to understand these points of view
i only know what i know at any given time
is there something i can say
so sooner comes a brighter day
a better understanding of all human kind
