So I ust got my electric bill

And it is $304.00 for the period of September 25-October 25. How
is this possible? I usually spend between 40 anbd 50 per
month.Looking at the bill, under "Other Fees and Services,"
there is a charge for $220.00 which is under "Deposit Required."
What the fuck is this? I have been living here for 2 years. My
energy charge for the month was $44. Then there are a bunch of
other miscellaneous bullshit charges. What is going on here?

There have been numerous complaints about CL&P in CT lately.
One person found that they were charged the commercial rate
(more $$ than residential) for the last 9 years. CL&P\'s initial
response was "too bad\'. Now many cases of faulty meter readings
and other screwings have come to light. Fight the bastards, and
