for a Wandre, it looks pretty standard
there's a collector I know who has several of these italian
oddball gitters
he even has the Bikini
now that is a strange looking thing

Strange doesn't quite do them justice....Are those speakers or
some kind of wild resonator?

The Bikini was an electric guitar that had an design that used
a motorcycle theme. It has an attached amplifier. This was a
Davoli Krundaal CT 642 amplifier credited with being one of the
1st solid-state guitar amplifiers. It may have been proceeded by
the Kay company with their SS guitar amplifier. Both products
were released in 1962. Davoli Krundaal company was started in
Parma, Italy by Athos Davoli in 1957 as a vacuum tube
electronics design house and manufacturer. In the early 1960s
the company started producing instrument amplifiers and PA
systems, which quickly became popular in Italy. Davoli Krundaal
products were branded both under the Krundaal and Davoli brands.
The amplifier has a speaker grill with radiating spokes
suggesting a motorcycle wheel and an enclosure shaped like a
motorcycle fuel tank. On the back of the amplifier is a battery
access cover and two RCA mini jacks. The amplifier used an 18V
DC supply. The 1st jack is the pickup connector and the second
for an optional expansion speaker cab.

looks odd as well, takes a little getting used to but is
amazingly comfy
