A few songs crossing my mind

This song is so fucking infectious. I read that Otis came up
with some of the horn arrangements - in his head. He would come
in off the road for recording sessions at Stax in Memphis. I
read that the session guys would look forward for him coming.
Fun times. But I read that he'd have some horn parts worked out
in his head and would teach the parts to the guys, punching them
in the chest to accent certain notes. Must've been great times

I was checking YouTube, looking for some "slow" Chopin Etudes.
I only found this one. I though it had a haunting quality to it.
It's the inner voices - with the slide show score you can
actually see them - there in the middle.
I had the thought that Chopin was to harmony what Jimi Hendrix
was to electric guitar. Experimental baby !

Then for a fine chaser. Listen to the tepid intro and then how
lifts it up into the sky with his voice.

Elmore James was a major influence on a host of guitar players.
Duane Allman, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck...just
       to name a few.
I think Otis Redding was a major influence ...Period.

       I'm a simple pothead. I bake cookies and have a vaporizer. It's
a happy hour sort of thing.

Bucky's Stardust brought this to my mind. Ton of words, but so
masterful. Rogers and Hart. I think Lorenz Hart (Larry) maybe
drank himself to death. Richard Rogers worked with Oscar
       Hammerstein later on.
But this stuff is wicked and delicious. For example:
"I'll sing to him, each spring to him. And worship the trousers
that cling to him. " (at about 3:45)
