       I've heard of them, but have not heard them..I must check them
       out if you dig them though.

       i've started with their album "gimme fiction", and it is
       fantastic.

       i hear aspects of the beatles, pixies, ocean colour scene,
       bowie, pretty much everything i love all rolled into one. i
       can't believe i only just found out about this band. they are
       fucking great.

       I heard the Beatles and Bowie influence right off as well! The
       song had great bones and I really liked the sonics of the
       recording...Sounded really honest you know.....Thanks for
       turning me on to these guys Nick! You're the best!

       no no no, thank adam buxton! one of my comedy heroes who does a
       podcast! he had these guys on his show earlier this year. that's
       how i learned about them. the episode is well worth a listen.
       they do a great cover of bowie's last ever track....

       I like them, at least this recording of them.  Just googled them
       and it appears they are from Austin.  Austin seems to have some
       sort of magic spell cast over it.  I caught an episode of
       "American Masters" (PBS) last week on Richard Linklater the film
       maker. He lives in Austin.
