       Happy Labor Day!

       No big plans here, as The Lad has to work today. Put a pot of
       pinto beans on this morning, gonna let 'em cook low and slow.
       Probably make some cornbread and cook some rice and that will be
       dinner tonight. Along with some fresh Pecos canteloupes.
       I keep trying to get outside in time to catch some video of all
       these Chinooks that fly over in regular intervals, ferrying
       goods and Soldiers in and out of the flood zones but I'm old and
       the Chinooks are too fast for me. Plus they've changed their
       flight patterns and seem to be disappearing behind the treelines
       quicker than I can get a camera up.
