Isn't that a great story? Three kids that would change
music...I love the Anthology. I usually watch the whole thing
all the way through once a year.

Even given the age difference, I think you'd get some benefit
from watching it. It's not just the story of a band but of a
decade. Just the changes in recording technology and technique
that took place in that decade are shattering.

even if you're not a huge beatles fan, it's well worth a watch.
i remember watching it on tv when i was 14 (in 1995). i was
already a beatles fanatic, but it was the best thing i'd ever
seen. it's basically the bible of the beatles. so much
information, and so well put together and presented. it is a
work of pure art. and the boxset is around 10 hours of footage
       i think. maybe more.
       i can't recommend it enough.

sometimes i'd rather listen to beatles out-takes than their
       actual takes

The 50th anny Sgt. Pepper's has some heretofore unheard one on
it...The Anthology cd's are full of them.

I must have missed the Anthology if there's 10 hours of video.
I'm not going to buy it at this point in my life, but wouldn't
mind watching it. One great advantage of watching on YouTube
nowadays is that you can check out music used in some of the
clips also. I mean people like Big Bill Broonzy and Lonnie
       Donigan.
