Wow..And I Love Her...that has got to be the greatest scene of
       the movie...
       So simplistic, so beautiful.
I remember seeing the movie and marveling how modern all the
       electronics seem to be.
The guitar break in that song always takes me to some beautiful
       place in Spain...
Which one of those Beatle Boys, or perhaps Mr. Martin, came up
with that awesome idea to modulate the key in Georges guitar
       break.?
       No 'bout adoubt it'..
       They were fucking geniuses.!

....The guitar solo in "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" remains
one of my favorite Eric Clapton solos....
...Never understood why George deferred to Eric for the solo...I
know he said he thought he just couldn't get it right...But i
wonder why he had that particular lack of confidence. I mean it
says a lot about his humility I suppose.....But he'd pulled off
my solos prior to that on Lennon-McCartney compositions.
       Mystery to me.

I'm just grateful that Clapton and George formed a fruitful
friendship. I read in Geoff Emerick's book that when the B's
(you know who) were in their early recording days, they
sometimes had George play his solo an octave low and at half
speed. Then at normal speed it sounded correct. But by the time
of "Something" George insisted that he wanted to play live
(live in studio) with the orchestra. This was financially risky
since if George screwed up his solo the whole orchestra was on
the clock. Geoff said he did a great job. This is my memory
from reading maybe 5 years ago - please excuse any aged
       memories.
But I'd guess the friendship benefitted Eric too. George learned
a ton of interesting chord changes. Think of the songs crafted
by the B's. Playing together in their respective London flats.
God, to have been a fly on the wall.
I think about the Beatles way too much.
