I recently bought "Mary Poppins" and "Oklahoma!" - the
soundtracks. I like 'em. I'm a style slut. But there's some
       great music in them.
When I was maybe 10 or 11 I wanted a Beach Boys album for
Christmas. My mother went to a store, probably JC Penney, and
told 'em she wanted a Beach Boys album. He sold he the
"Hollyridge Strings" doing the Beach Boys. I was beyond
       disappointed, but didn't let on.
I don't think anything I own would surprise you. Just though of
one cool odd one. I think I read a review and there was a
display in a store. Anyway D'Gary - Music From Madagasgar
I couldn't find the original album on YouTube - but this is him
       playing in the flesh.

I've got the vinyl "Oklahoma!" soundtrack, courtesy of my
Grandfather. It's a HiFi record,as are most the records I
inherited from him. He had a lot of soundtrack records. He also
had some train records...Just the sounds of different trains.
I think most of our members here have a wide scope of tastes.
Really, the only one I don't have a real feel for is Bieke. But
I'm constantly intrigued by some of the artists you guys
reference. The fact that a young guy like Bucky was a major Glen
Campbell admirer was a real eye opener for me.
And D'Gary is a hell of a guitar player...Flamenco on steroids.

       Yes, we're a diversely music'd group. As I've aged, I've grown
to appreciate music I couldn't (or wouldn't) in my youth. I
have a Perry Como Christmas CD which I believe consists of 2
       separate vinyl releases.
The surprise from me would probably be if I had an EDM or Disco
album. I don't. I came to dislike music with a pattern
repeated verbatim over and over. I remember when I heard a
portion of Phillip Glass's soundtrack for (I think)
'Koyaanisqatsi' . My memory is that a musical line is played,
then played slower, then played faster, over and over... I
       didn't like that.

I didn't realize the resonator was in the pic 'til I saw it
       posted.
I was going to do a group shot of my acoustic to post here soon.
