that was sent to me by a member of Zoe’s camp... about a month
ago when i was going through a low spot. along with a story
that she wrote about meeting a wizard on the beach at love burn,
that took her on a mystical journey into a place where space and
time had no meaning... i guess i have a fan club in minnesota?

Hello AJ or anyone. This forum is confusing to me.
Personal news...I had a Yamaha NU1X delivered yesterday. It's
called a hybrid digital piano because they attempted to
replicate the hammer mechanism but without strings...attempting
to give the feel of a real piano.
I hope I didn't hijack this thread.

There’s no highjack rules here.
If you would like to follow my somewhat scattered idea of

The NU1X keys are much stiffer to play than I'm accustomed. I'm
trying to adapt my hand/forearm technique to use more leverage -
holding my forearm slightly higher than before.
I also have started playing out again. My gigs are at an old
folks home - assisted living facility. I played yesterday and
with play Saturday (two days from now). So things are coming
back - a bit.
I'm having travel yearnings. I want to do a short trip to St.
Augustine maybe in the next month or so. I suppose we all have
pent up desires to go someplace. I passed on the big family
gatherings like T'giving and Christmas. BUT, I told my sister
that I'll happily show up for the Easter dinner thing.

our 9 yr old wanted a piano, i looked forever trying to find an
electronic with real feeling keys.... all these new keyboards
and not one felt like a piano. my wife is also afflicted with
being a musician, she found one she felt was decent and the lad
plays it several times a day without any prompting. im
creating a monster...
