sounds like a bumper crop at Luke Manor. The Lad won't eat
anything concerning tomatoes or ground meat. So when we get
hungry for spaghetti or lasagna,
He knows it's fend for yourself night....Not a prob...We stay
well stocked with stuff for all to eat.
I've never tried making a marinara sauce though.

I agree with taking 'em down and preserving them in a museum. I
do believe in limiting organizing capabilities for people
wanting to injure or crush opposing voices. If you look at
Germany in the mid-late 1930's with their Kristallnacht and
other bullshit they engaged in, these are idealistic models for
the clowns wanting to hate people base on their genes. How
stupid. I hold people responsible for bad behavior, not who
they had for a mother and father - things out of their control.
The danger as I see it is if susceptible youth get swept up in
the nonsense. Kind of the polar opposite but yet the compliment
of people swept up in radical Islamic horse shit. Horse shit is
horse shit.
I've pondered the whole issue of horse shit. The horse shit
spewed by the idiot Don the Con. I had an epiphany recently.
Donald Trump is a variation on Archie Bunker. But born into
wealth and educated. Educated in finance and economics. God
forbid he learn something about history or how our government
runs.
The only hope I can see is for critical thinking skills and
reason to become valued. It should be held up as an ideal.
There should be school groups forming, critical thinking clubs.
I'm tired of hearing people who claim to be Christian allying
themselves with a fucking presidential leader who preaches hate,
ignorance, and is likely in the early stages of dementia.
But Trump has given a wink and a nod to right wing haters by
using mushy back and forth contradictary statements.

The statues are a part of our History...we are no better than
Isis destroying 1000s of years of Ancient bldgs.etc.
I am an Antiquarian...I loves me all that old stuff.
Museum is a good place for that statuary..and have them taken
done gently ..not by a pack of fucking hate filled Barbarians
who love to destroy things, burn things, but never built, or
created anything more than unwanted kids or a drug habit.
Trump has so many characteristics of Adolph Hitler 'cept Hitler
was somewhat intelligent and a shrewd.
Trump is little more than a bullying Bombastic dumbass.

I fry my barnyard pimp in cast iron pans I inherited from my
parents..no one else wanted them at the time..I also got their
copper pots and saucepans they picked up in France for a song,
and had shipped to the States back in the 1950's.
Now my vulture brother, and my ne'er do well sister are hinting
around they want a piece of them..they didn't want them 27 years
ago...
I schlepped them to Luke Manor along with a slew of Antiques..no
one wanted any of 'that old shit' back then either..
Fuck 'em..possesion is 9/ tenths...and they are protected by 2
Glocks and a Kel-tec 9mm. C:-)
Sorry..went off there...heh heh.
We have a Fry-Baby little deep fryer we use for just wings, or
breaded shrimp and breaded oysters for making Po' Boys.
Any of you guys ever make beer batter chicken or fish?
Every Tuesday or Weds. mi esposa whips up a standard Puerto
Rican meal...;
Adobo seasoned Chicken thighs or po'k Chops (chuletas) ..white
rice, red beans with calabasa chunks and chorizo,.. fried
plaintains,(tostones)) and a green salad.
Puerto Rican house dressing for the Insalate is garlic powder,
mayo mixed with catsup...Hellmans even sells it that way in
Puerto Rico...
you've heard of Thousand Island dressing right?
I call this concoction 'A Thousand Puerto Ricans' cuz they ALL
use it. :-)

You know, I also thought of Isis and the Taliban destroying
statues of Buddha and Baal....I suppose you could draw a
comparison between them and the Reb haters that want all the
Confederate statues down, but I'm not sure it's a fair
comparison. Isis and the Taliban are taking down what they
consider graven images. Allah forbids any Gods but He. Islam
forbids the depiction of humans period, at least Fundamental
Islam does.
So it's a comparison of religious and political fanaticism.
While Hitler was politically smart and shrewd, he was a military
idiot. If he'd let his generals run the show, most of Europe
would be speaking German today.

Onkel Adolph had it pretty much going on with Miitary
strategy..yeah, my peeps, the Prussian Old Guard Officer cadre,
hated the Bohemian Corporal..but the little shit wore the Iron
Cross, fought a few years on the front without a respite..got to
taste some Mustard gas....a real soldier.
The guy paid his dues..but he should have deferred to to
Pros...the Monocle wearing, heel clicking, Prussian Officer
Corps was the best in the world..
but shit..once Hitler invaded Mother Russia..the German Officer
Corps, no matter how capable..wasnt going to stop the
Russkies.
Nyet..no way.
Shear numbers and a daily ration of over a pint of Vodka ..kept
them moving forward..plus all that German Pussy..
spoils of war.

Well that's my point really. He had already made Uncle Joe
happy with dividing Poland...If he had listened to the officers
advising him against Barbarossa altogether, The Nazis and The
Commies would have had it all.
Yes, Hitler was a brave soldier during the Great War. Gotta give
that Hitler his props I suppose. But he turned a deaf ear to
some of the finest military minds of the times far too often. He
was a megalomaniac. A psychotic, paranoid, sick, ball of hate
that thought he was fucking Napoleon.
What he did do was essentially ignore the Treaty of Versailles
and allow his Officer Corps and the Brilliant German Engineering
sectors to build a military from the ground up. Utilizing the
great German military traditions to build the finest soldiers
the World had ever seen.
Until The American Army showed up.....

By the way....Real right of passage for the fam last week...My
Brothers Oldest boy, My Nephew Zak...Left for Basic training at
Lackland AFB in SA. We're all filled with pride. Kid had a 4.0
GPA, Honors Student, Graduated Cum Laude, but wanted to serve
his country first, then college.
The AF wanted him to go to the Academy when the saw his
transcripts, but he wasn't havin' it. He didn't want a career,
just wanted to serve..and maybe figure out exactly what he
wanted to do.......Level headed kid...Always has been. A joy to
be around.
A old and good friend of my brother's, his family was friends
with ours and all...Spent 12 years in the Army, then joined the
AF and served another 10...Now he's some kind of military
attache and techie in the private sector and lives in Saudi and
Japan. When my brother explained what kind of training the AF
has Zak heading for he knew exactly where he was heading...Hi
Tech Operations. The Buddy flew on AWACS for several years and
dealt with other high falutin space based ops.
Anyway....We're all about to bust our buttons down here. Of
course his Mom and his Aunts are worried, which is what wimmen
do. If my brother was worried he wouldn't cop to it, neither
would I.....Zak is really close with his little brother, Mitch,
and they are close in age...Only 14 months apart and so Mitch is
gonna miss him....But sez he's gonna join up when he finishes
school too.....Mitch is a gearhead like his Paw...He wants to
work on Aircraft.
My Brother's birthday is tomorrow...And he don't know it, but I
ordered him a full size United States Air Force Flag for his
birthday. The Wimmens will probably start cryin' but I know he's
gonna grin so big his face is gonna crack.

Sounds good to me. We had a rack of ribs leftover. I sauteed
onions too, and threw some cilantro in the pan with 'em.
Stripped the rib meat and threw it in the microwave, threw some
flour tortillas on the griddle and we had street tacos.
Wish you didn't live so far away....We could have some epic
potluck dinners Bro!
