       Pretty cool, Jim.  8)
       I was born a little late to be as heavily influenced by The
       Beatles as some of my boomer friends, but there's no denying the
       influence they had on modern music.

       Yer welcome. If it had not been for The Beatles, I’m not sure I
       would ever have picked up a guitar.

       This is the case with my musical partner, too.
       He told me one of his earliest memories is standing on the
       transmission hump in his parents car singing "She Loves You."
       Needless to say, he is definitely a fan.  ;D

       For me, it was hearing their cover of “Twist and Shout”. That
       was the tune of theirs that caught my attention. That, and the
       fact that all the girls in sixth grade had the hots for
       them.😎
       But the tune of theirs that got me REALLY interested in electric
       guitars was “You can’t do that”. The solo in that song remains
       one of my favorites. It’s not that it’s all that complex, it’s
       the tone and the anger coming through it. I thought for forty
       years it was George, but it was John playing it. Always assumed
       it was George, because he was always listed as lead guitar. At
       least in those early days.

       The opening riff is George on a Rickenbacker 12 string. I can’t
       afford one though, the old ones are prized and the new ones too
       pricey for me.  😢
