thank you both! it was a wonderful day! i got to gift an hours
meditation on fb/live on my gongs and a few bowls. the
soundcloud recording didnt pan out, some static in one passage
that i cant seem to trace? possibly a mic cable... most likely,
now that i think about it. and the new cat vocalizing several
times quite spiritedly! i think she sounds fine but ive
actually had one person complain about a mockingbird echoing
gong sounds at the end of one meditation conducted outdoors...
recorded in asmr... imquote, “ i was just getting to a
peaceful place and then that damned bird was singing in the
distance, distracting me.”. ..if you ever figure that one
out, im open to ideas... lol!
on an amusing note, some angry little troll reported a post i
shared back in march that had a child dancing with a city bus
driver... so immediately after my live session i was informed i
cant go live again for a month... someone was butthurt and
until they were properly staffed to review... covid and all, im
in jail... march was the best they could do, im a fucking
cad... lol... i see where dancing bus drivers and kids could
cause the world as we know it to implode into eternal damnation.
anyway, i listened to the fb offering, it was ok... but the
compression, (side chaining) makes it very difficult to do
anything even half seriously for decent sound... noise gates
that are set for voice dont work with gongs at resonant
levels... which is my bread and butter... so rather than have
a fuck f-assbook mentality, ive decided to have a pro- youtube
attitude... thinking of just using fb to promote the youtube
material, maybe... and keep up with any that would choose...
otherwise, telephones and email will be the most likely
methods... i do all original, improvisational music... no
covers. ive never once asked for money, not even for our
non-profit animal rescue/sanctuary...yet im not up to fb
community standards. ive reported animal abusers and been told
they werent against fb community standards. ive reported trolls
pretending to be my mother and told it was not against fb
community standards... i see it differently, i refise to stoop
to their degrading idea of standards and i feel nasty being part
of fb. i have participated in protests for protecting the
water at standing rock and interestingly enough, thats when my
fb issues began. hmmmm... doesnt matter... moving forward.
today im watching television for the first time in a minute or
two... doctor who marathon... and keeping the glaucoma at a
foggy distance... ha! nothings sad until its over... and then
everything is... whats my name? the doctor! doctor who? why
yes! no! doctor what? no! not doctor what... doctor who!?!?
yes!
so if you happen to see me with an illegal smile,
it dont cist very much, but it lasts a long while,
wont ya please tell the man i never killed anyone...
im just tryin’ to have me some fun,

one of my favorites is “storm windows”. the whole album has a
sad feel to it, like a slow rainy day.
