17 days in and this could be the first day i need nothing for fe
ver...

dec 2nd i had an abcessed molar exctracted. started with a sore
throat on the 3rd... nothing terrible, figured maybe a little
drainage action from the dental... woke up the 4th around 2am
with a fever and chills. stuffy nose, congested... getting a
cold? maybe a little flu? i went through the checklist of
symptoms and my sense of smell was intact so not to worry...
10th day, lost all sense of smell... now, to be tested, one
must be tested within 7 days of onset of symptoms, so i cant be
tested other than to wait several weeks and have an antibody
test... i followed the cdc guidelines for self monitoring and
reporting if necessary and was just under the wire on needing to
seek a doctor. i cant say this was covid although i had all
the symptoms except vomiting and diarrhea. whatever it is, its
royally kicked my ass into submission.
today is the first day ive not needed asprin... 12 baby aspirin
kept me fever free for about 8 to 10 hours at a pop. my bp meds
and glaucoma meds keep my sinuses and shit dry as a popcorn fart
in the painted desert. the brain fog is stupefying...
immobilizing...
