Found this on YouTube...A post Modern reading of a 60's Classic
performed by the original artist with a Harpist as his only
accompanist. I was a bit taken aback by the purity of the
reading, as well as by the harpist using an version of that
ancient instrument I had not seen before..

Interesting. The harpist reminds me of R&R guitar players with
her gesticualting stage play. I remember when the song was
released. I think Mason Williams was a writer on the Smothers
Brothers show. That show was a breath of fresh air.
Unfortunately, the Nixon administration and CBS censors didn't
like fresh air.
