Talking to office equipment is acceptable, provided the
equipment is ok with it. Harassment in the workplace is
unacceptable behavior.

I prefer to run out into the yard and run around the base of the
tree that they're in, all while barking madly.
The neighbours don't think much of this, however.
At least that's what the cop told me. :P

The stapler told me that he is quite okay with this behaviour.

Every stapler I've ever known have been universally open to
conversation, and very good listeners....Despite their sometimes
frustrating issues with the tasks they were designed to execute.
