Hope everybody's doing okay.
Been a little quiet here lately.
At any rate.

DanO---aye aye.
Yeah, been slow 'round these parts lately.
Not much to report. Working on guitar projects, trying to get
ready for the impending winter.
Cinny had/has yesterday and today off; we've mostly been laying
around the shanty. Picked up a jug of Stoli for her and one of
Woodford Reserve for me, so we have decent hooch to sip.
Such exciting lives we lead!

Glad to hear that all is well, Jim.
I guess I should be a little more thorough (and not so lazy) in
my scan for new posts. :-[

Decent hooch is one of the things that makes life tolerable,
methinks. :P
We've been in full on winter mode since Saturday, when a good
old prairie blizzard blew through town leaving about 8 inches of
wet, heavy snow on the ground. I fired up the snowblower, and it
was still a bit of a fight to get it cleared. Damn shit would
just roll up into a big snow ball in front of the machine rather
than actually go through it. We usually don't get the wet, heavy
snow until spring around here. Typically, November gives us
freezing cold temps with dry, powdery snow. Thank God for
snowblowers.
Glad to hear things are otherwise okay for you and yours.
These be weird/dangerous times...

We had minor flurries a few times in October, nothing that came
close to sticking for more than minutes.
Last week was our Indian summer (can I still say that?).
MON9NOV20 topped out at 80 Farenheits!
Night before last, temps plummeted. Hard freezes. 43 now and
that's as high as it's going.
A buddy dropped a small load of nice dry mixed oak, maple and
ash in my driveway the other day. Fireplace is in full use.
Bourbon in a rocks glass, beer back. Chili in the instant pot,
corn bread in the oven (in a cast iron skillet, of course).
Life ain't so bad :)

im around, now and again... im just going to be honest and say
its been a bit dark inside. my wifes legs are not healing and
of course the titanium femurs were temporary... shes walking on
fucking rods and the insurance companies wont even pay for a
fucking ct scan... their maximum settlement on the accident
wont cover even half of the hospital bills... they wouldnt ok
rehab... two crushed legs? my 84 year old mothers doctor
informed her she has cancer... no results back yet but hes
certain a speck on her kidneys is cancer. i used to be in the
med field and i dont remember anything remotely like that ever
happening..a diagnosis delivered without valid test results??.
theres about zero possibilities that the fucking cunt that
ripped us off for over 60 grand will ever be brought to trial...
the retina surgery i had in my right eye is failing... and i
might be able to get the abcessed molar pulled the 2nd of dec...
thats the tip of things... so if im quiet, or a bit moody
now and again, i try to avoid friends that i will inevitably
wear on and piss off...
thanks for your patience, ima stop fucking whining now.

Damn Bro. Can’t believe the troubles on your shoulders right
now. I would not describe what you just wrote as whining, not
even remotely. Wouldn’t blame you for whining if you did. You’ve
an uneven burden of pain on your plate. It shows the strength of
your character that you haven’t fallen into complete despair
yet.
I wish provision for you, and relief for you and the women you
love so much.
If there is a way I can help, please don’t hesitate to mention
how I could.
It’s a horrid coincidence that you, me, Dano and Dinkleberg all
have had major health issues this year. Odder still that the
World currently shares a nasty virus as well.
2020 just sucks.
