       Corn on the cob

I love the stuff. Always have. Over the years, I have tried
       cooking it every way imaginable.
I’ve settled on 2 methods. Dependent on what else I have going,
       stove space, etc.
       1. Microwave it in the husk, 4 minutes per cob. Then cut off the
stalk end, shake, shake, shake it by the silk end till it glides
       out, silk free. Perfectly cooked.
       2. Dehusk, desilk, and destalk. Bring a pot of water to a
roiling boil, then turn off the heat, put the corn in and cover
it. 10 minutes later, perfectly cooked.
That Olathe sweet corn is my favorite, but only comes in once a
       year.

I love it also. We grow some delicious sweet corn here.
I mostly steam it anymore. But your two methods are also quite
       good.
Slathered in butter (NOT margarine) and way oversalted 8)
