Not so much as a drop of rain from Laura. Dodged it completely.

We got 1.3" of rain yesterday. Very welcome. My plants got
watered and my reservoir got refilled.
Props to my roofer, Dale. He was on the roof during the rain,
finding where it was leaking. Seems a crimp on the bottom pan of
the flashing kit was broken during installation---new kit is
here, skylight is tarped. He'll install it when he gets a
minute. GAWD I hope this fixes it.
You guys, all---stay safe.

It hasn't stopped raining since my last post. 4 1/2" in the last
3 days. Sometimes just sprinkles, sometimes deluges. Had to pull
into a parking lot yesterday morning on the way home from taking
Cindy to work and wait for it to ease up---literally could not
see.
Needless to say, Dale has had no chance to replace that flashing
during this rain event. The beauty of it is, he lives about 600
yards down the street. MORE beauty is that I've known his wife
since she was a kid running around with my niece, and she'll
chew his buttocks if he neglects me >:D! Ah, but the tarp is
holding. No complaints there.
Once I'm sure this leak is fixed, I've got a drywall repair job
to do. My kitchen ceiling has sustained significant damage from
this. I can do mud work, but I hate it---

My Kathy would have been 65 today.
I want either this year or my life to end.

Hang in there, brother. It's been a tough year for everyone, but
especially for you---and it will pass.

Thanks bro. I was in a bad place yesterday. I’m better today.
