Supposed to be in the mid 80's here next week.
Not a big deal for you Texas-types, but most people around here
don't have AC.
Sleeping is unpleasant.
Still, not too long before we see -20 again. >:(

It finally rained. HARD---like a cow pissing on a flat rock.
And guess what?
My fucking roof is leaking.

Inorite? I paid six thousand fucking dollars for this roof and a
new skylight. The old worn-out roof didn't leak, I did this to
forestall any future problems. HAH! Caught my ass looking!
Anger will get me nowhere. Yeah, I'm thoroughly annoyed and
frustrated---they recently ripped out the ridge vent and
installed cans---we went through a couple hard rains with no
leaks, but this morning's storm saw it leaking steadily. My
kitchen ceiling is RUINT. Howzabout my roof framing that I can't
see?---and now the general contractor is saying, I paid subs to
fix this, talk to them. What the actual fuck? What happened to
your "lifetime guarantee"?
...and some folks wonder why I'm a cranky old bastard... ::)

we've had some really weird weather here recenty. a lightning
storm the other day that lit up the sky every 30 seconds, but no
thunder. a couple of days of torrential rain. extreme humidity.
this is england for fucks sake. we should have grey skies and
permanent drizzle with the odd ray of sunlight. this country
has gone to the dogs >:(
