Cool! Isn't it remarkable what characters they are? I had a
Dutch blue lovebird years ago, named Herboscones
(herBOSconeez)---Bosco, for short---he was my pal and what a
screwball!

True! Wrigley definitely has his own cute and goofy little
personality. He’s simply one of us. If I eat in the den, he will
land on the edge of my plate and fearlessly sample the fare.
Now, I have a sofa and a love seat in the den. Both have
electric recliners built into them. I sit on the right end of
the couch. That’s “my” spot. He will only land on a plate there.
The Lad sits on the left end, but Wrigs won’t land and knosh
there. If the Lad sits on my spot, Wrigs makes a beeline for him
there. Funny. But the bird is much more bonded with the Lad. He
won’t get on my finger, but he’ll climb right on the Lad’s and
be perfectly happy doing whatever.
One of the end tables has a brass lamp and he likes hanging out
there so much I have a dedicated set of linens I put on top of
it so he can happily cut up with his own reflection and it’s
easy to just throw the cloth with his poop in the washing
machine.

Aww, what a cutie! :-*
We had a budgie when I was a kid. His name was Joey. A very
early memory of mine is my mom rolling and cutting cigarettes
with the Vmaster machine, and Joey picking them up and dropping
them off the edge of the table.
He also had a huge vocabulary, consisting of "Joey" and "Dumb
bird." He would say these over and over when the mood struck
him. ;D
Birds are cool. 8)
