Some pics from the Dinklefarm

This is the sprayer and its support vehicle, all loaded up and
ready to go spray fungicide on field peas.

My brother gave me Papa D's old quad bike. Here we're putting a
tube in an almost wore out tubeless tire.
I'm gonna have to buy tires for it soon, methinks.

I took my drone out to the pasture on the hill by the farm.
I've always loved the view from here.
You can see a bit of the farm on the far right.
If money was no object, I would have a house up here.

This is the house I lived in until I was 8. It's soon to have a
date with Mr Excavator.
It's not exactly safe in its present condition.

"Steve" was in the shop for a new muffler gasket and a valve
cover gasket.
It's called "Steve" after the uncle my brother bought it from.

Steve, all buttoned up and washed and ready for duty on the
rough cut mower.

This is the slough across the road from the farm house.
I spent many an hour there as a kid chasing frogs, playing in
the mud, snowmobiling, etc.

An unfortunate end to an otherwise highly enjoyable weekend.
Stupid POS rebuilt Wilson alternator played out. It's the second
one in less than 1000 km.
The entire centre section of the pulley self destructed. Never
seen that sort of failure before.
Thank God for AMA!

A little bit of video from my fourth ever drone flight.
Some of it's a little bit jerky, but I'm getting better at
smoothness the more I fly.

Thanks, guys.
I don't actually own any of it, but I have pretty much unlimited
visiting privileges.
Mama and Papa D moved into the place in 1954.
Papa D and his family homesteaded in the 30's about 5 miles from
the Dinklefarm.
His ashes are interred about a mile up the road in a small
community cemetery.
I shall spend eternity there with him and the rest of the
family.
That thought brings me comfort. :)

Thanks, your Great Greenness!
Although Mother Nature did most of the work on the beautiful
part, I'll take a bit of the credit. ;)
