I got to see Mama D on Tuesday

We had an outdoor, socially distant visit.
I had to pass a medical screening, and wear a mask and gloves
for the duration of our visit, all while staying behind the
lines they had layed out to keep us apart.
It was very good to see and hear her in the flesh, despite the
restrictions. C:-)
The last time I saw her in person was on March 15.

Thanks, I was glad, too.
Yeah, it's pretty weird, to say the least.
I wanted so much to give her a hug and a kiss, but I exercised
better judgment (at least I hope it was better judgment).
Not only would I feel awful if I introduced Covid into her ward,
but they were very clear that not following the rules would lead
to loss of visitation privileges.

spirits as much as yours.
