I’ve been watching it from the first season. The series is about
done now. It’s pretty good. I’ve enjoyed it.

Some of those shieldmaidens are hot as hell.
Ivar is a piece of work ain't he?
They are using actual historical figures in the series, but the
timelines are skewed quite a bit. Still, it's made for some good
       TV.
I really like the Floki character....I'd discuss it more but I
don't want to be a spoiler in case I'm a lot further ahead than
       you.

       I've got a crush on Lagatha. :-*
I like the Floki character, too, and agree about Ivar. He was
kinda psychotic even as a child.
I've got three episodes left to watch.
I'll likely polish it off this evening.
It's been a great watch, to be sure.

Lagatha is hot. I can't believe Ragnar left her for that bag o
       bones witchy woman.
Then again, I don't know why Lagatha was with him to begin with.
He must have had a hella big war hammer.

Or he was very effective with his average sized war hammer. :P
Finished the series off last night.
Enjoyed most of it, kinda disappointed that it's done.

I’m under the impression it isn’t done. I think there is some
       concluding episodes yet to come.
Of course everyone is dead but Ivar and Ubar.

That could be. A quick Google gives me two different answers.
I hope there's more, at any rate.

No more episodes...Kinda sucks. Will never find out if Ubar made
it to North America, or if Ivar and the Rus conquered all of the
       remaining Vikings.
Really wanted to see Ivar get his, so to speak....
       Oh well.
Now I'm watching this new series on National Geographic based in
the 1600's in new France...Your neck of the woods....Called
"Barkskins". Got a weirdness to it, and a favorite actor of
mine, David Thewlis. He's been a character actor in many movies,
and was featured in the last run Fargo had on TV where he played
a Eastern European bad guy with a nasty bulimia habit. In
Barkskins he plays some kind of lower french nobility
       frontiersman/farmer. Weird character.
