would appear I missed a heated exchange between Dano and Dudely.
I was way too tired to do my daily due diligence here yesterday,
or earlier today...I forget which, when this conflagration took
place.
Checked in this morning and had personal messages from both of
them, sent within hours of the others, notifying me of their
mutual disdain for each other. Also, that neither would be
returning here.
This makes me sad. I love both you guys.
But frankly, I got my own problems.
I'm not responding to your messages. Iron this shit out between
yourselves, or don't. If all this place becomes is me talking to
myself, with occasional visits from Imp and Bieke, I'm quite
cool with that.
Both of you have my email and there's Faceplace.
The Basement will abide.

Yes, I read the whole thread. Both of you have had a running
feud for years with each other.
As I stated, both of you guys I consider to be real friends. I’m
not taking sides in this tempest in a teapot.
I don’t give a fuck what that says about me as an admin, or the
Basement as a forum.

no problem. imma big boy and to be honest, im not insulted by
danos lack of understanding. id have to genuinely care what he
thought in order for it to matter... dano, i never said im all
light... actually i continue to tell folks theres is a
balance... for as much light there is equal darkness... but youd
have to be smart enough to get that... which, obviously you
arent... so, im gonna go fuck myself now... because it feels
pretty good... phony... funny how we call others by what

I did not say, nor prohibit, either of you from slinging
whatever darts you have in your quiver at each other. I refuse
to be a referee in your arguments however.
I'm not banning either one of you. You both messaged me saying
you were leaving the Forum. Yet, you both returned to beat up on
each other some more.
The problem, as I see it, with my olden and under educated eyes
is this...
Dudely is left wing. Dano is right wing.
Birds with one wing just fly in circles.
I'm a moderate. I've got both wings to fly with. I may dip to
the right or the left but I always come back to center. That
doesn't make me a better bird. It just keeps me from getting
hung up in any extreme orbits.
Both you guys are welcome here. Whether you choose to get along
or not is up to you.
Perhaps I should make a new sticky thread. I could call it "The
Rowdy Room". And anybody itching for a fight could go there and
have at.
I'm not choosing between you two or taking sides in
your...your...whatever the fuck this is.
