Sorry to hear that, Jim. :(
We are experiencing an expected increase in cases here, but
nothing like what you folks are going thorough.
Alberta now has the distinction of having the most cases per
capita of any of the provinces.
Despite this, they are cautiously going ahead with more
openings.
We'll see what happens, I guess.

You know how it goes bro. I check in everyday, but sometimes I
just don’t have anything to say. Some days I do but just have a
“fuck it” attitude going.

This pretty much describes my presence here, too.
Unless I'm at the Dinklefarm.
There's no internet, and my phone only (barely) works in
different areas of the yard.
It's frustrating, but kinda nice, too.

It’s a good and healthful thing to unplug from time to time Dan.
Strange. We, all of us here, in the Basement, were drawn
together via mutual interests in music. Yet most of our
interactions are removed from that topic.
Contact is what we all seek the most. The internet simply is a
conduit to connect us on our own terms, in the way we wish
to....and only when we wish to. It’s a form of freedom I
suppose, that frees from the sometimes uncomfortable aspects of
true f2f interactions that might actually cripple us in one way
or another from true expressions.

Well virus numbers are spiking again in several states they had
leveled off in. This shit is far from over and I remain
astonished at the numbers of people that remain in denial about
it.
