Today is day one of stage two reopening here in Albertastan.
I tend to think like you, Jim.
Life is going to be a yoyo of opening, shut down, opening etc.
I never though I'd think of 2019 as the good ol' days. :'(

i dont... hurricane michael, my wife getting t-boned by the
logging truck, theft of our savings by the nanny hired to help
while my wife was in critical care... i could go on, but its
depressing... fuck that... today is work on working on the
tractor day... i need to sharpen brush hog blades so i dont have
to cut “half swaths” for a decent cut... 120 acres, it makes a
huge difference in fuel and time, wear and tear...

Well the Gubner shut down the bars again yesterday, and slammed
restaurant’s back to 50% occupancy. Shut down any public
gatherings as well. I expect he’ll cave if the orange baboon
wants to have a rally down here though.

Well the mask requirements in Harris County have been extended
to late August now. We’re reaching critical mass on ICU space.
Elective surgeries have been halted again, due to ever filling
hospital beds.
Some stubborn types are finally realizing this shit is real.

bay county icu beds are full. they arent covid cases... but
they are at capacity now... happy 4th!

Things are still relatively quiet here, at least for now.
There's talk of hitting stage 3 of the reopening in the not too
distant future.
I hope we're not rushing into this without a plan...

We’re at Covid level red here now. Waiting for another shutdown.
Bars all got closed down again last week. Restaurants back at
50%. Many area hospitals are at 98% capacity in cc units.
I don’t even know what to say anymore. It’s depressing.
