Thank the Gods I can cook

.....No restaurants here can offer anything but take out or
delivery. I cooked a pot roast with potatoes and carrots etc.
Sunday. Cooked a big pot of shrimp gumbo last night. Me and the
Lad are set for several days with the leftovers from those. The
freezer is full of chicken, fish, pork chops, veggies. Have
spaghetti sauce and chili in there as well. Loaded up on fresh
fruit and salad makings at the store Saturday. I feel fortunate.
There are a helluva lot of people that don’t know how to do
anything but order food or stick something in the microwave.
Many years single, and 35 years married to a woman that didn’t
cook forced my hand. Lol.
Good thing is the Lad loves my cooking.
Bad thing is sometimes I feel like a Grandma. 🙄

i miss my grandma... sure wish i had payed more attention to
her cooking...
