The Harris County Judge and Houston Mayor have ordered all
restaurants to serve only take out and drive through service.
They have also ordered all bars...CLOSED.
Shit is getting real.

Shit's getting real here, too.
Schools and post secondaries all shut down, as well as city rec
facilities and libraries etc.
I got a call from Mama D's care ward yesterday informing me that
they will be accepting essential visitors only.
This means the only visitors allowed will be those who have a
family member/resident who is dying.
Awfully glad I made the trek to go see her on Sunday.
Stay safe, my friends.

over here, bars closed, larger stores are closed, weekends all
shops closed, theathres, museums, all venues closed, schools
closed, people are asked to stay in, work from home
either this evening or tomorrow there will probably be a 2 week
lockdown
we'll see, about 1250 cases, 5 dead, 250 hospitalized of which
48 are critical

All you guys, do be careful. We have not seen the worst of this
yet. Stay home if you can. I can’t as long as grocery stores
stay open. All my customers have cut their open hours. What
concerns me is the many people now out of f work. Desperation
won’t take long to take hold. How many small children are
already missing meals?
I hope we as a nation, and a world community learn some lessons
from the next few weeks.

I guess I'm "high risk". Over 60, heart disease, lung disease.
Not really doing much of anything different. Stay home most of
the time, as usual. Practicing reasonable sanitation protocols.
Disinfecting with copious amounts of alcohol. The usual.
