Made up a batch of compost tea, applied it. Three hours later
I'm seeing benefits. Lower leaves that were yellowing are
       greening up. Hellz yeah.

Compost tea indeed! Recycle and rejuvenate! Amen brother!

Added some fresh(er) composted cow poop to the brewer for the
nitrogen content. Let that brew for 24 hours, add it tomorrow.
Gotta be careful with nitrogen on young plants---they need it
like crazy but too much will burn them. Thankful for my many
years of experience in this area.

Rectangular bucket 9"x9"x14" tall---small submersible water pump
with a top discharge feeding a fountainhead just above the water
level---aquarium air pump feeding a small airstone. Circulates
and aerates the tea. Makes three gallons at a time.
The compost goes into a reusable mesh bag, otherwise it would
       clog up the pump.
More leftover equipment from my cannabis growing days.
I make a larger brewer in garden season from a 55-gallon drum,
an industrial-sized air pump and some perforated 3/4" tubing.
Doesn't need a pump to circulate because the aerator creates
       plenty of movement.
Plants love this stuff. The difference is definitely noticeable.
Hoping to start a worm farm this spring. Their castings are
about the best fertilizer you can get. Adding that to the tea
       will make it even better.
The trailer park maintenance crew clears a patch of lakefront a
couple times a year---I harvest the plant material they dredge
out, dry it and add that too. Rich stuff.
No chemical fertilizers used down at DanO's farm.
       E-I-E-I-O!

       Wow.
That’s a lot of engineering involved there DanO.
       Impressive!

Switched over this morning from a 6-lamp T5 lighting fixture
(324W) to a 400W metal halide HID fixture. More lumens, bigger
footprint. Did another application of fertilizer---all
naturally-derived. Plants are doing EXTREMELY well. Looking
forward to a good growing season :)

I crave vegetables. Got to have them at least once a day. Rather
snack on carrots than chotato pips.
