....They brought her home to me today.
I put her on her nightstand in our bedroom.
There she will remain until I can get to Smokies to set her free
       as she asked. [emoji22]

Over the last two weekends, I’ve been going through a agonizing
process of going through a lifetimes of photographs, trying to
pick out the best photos of her for the memorial service. It’s
been draining. I haven’t even started going through the digital
photos yet. Much less the reels of video. Long way to go.
Now I’m watching the late Bob Ross paint, and it’s really
       soothing to some reason.

       I feel for you, Jim.
When Papa D died, we had three days to go through a mountain of
old photo albums looking for pics for a slideshow.
It was bittersweet at best, and it was very painful at times.
Bob Ross is the ultimate in relaxation material, though.
       Good choice!

All I can do is compare this to what I would do if I lost Cinny.
       I can't imagine.
       All my best, brudda.

It’s been a month today. There is still so much to do but I just
don’t want to do any of it. I get all the everyday things done
without issues. It’s the things related to her memorial that
just fill me with dread. I have to get motivatedo do these
things. I slept till 9:30 today and I never sleep that late.

I’ve been finishing up the final details for Kathy’s memorial
over the last several weeks. Think I’m ready for it next
       Saturday.
Closure. For me, the Lad and all who loved her. Picking out the
music for the service and the slide show I created proved to be
more difficult than I imagined. No doleful hymns or classical
       music involved.

When we were picking out photos for Papa D's funeral, it was a
bittersweet experience. Lot's of smiles at different memories a
picture would bring, but also the occasional tear.
I'm thinking good thoughts for you, brother.
