The Directors cut of "Kingdom of Heaven" last night. A great
movie made better by the extra footage and subtle changes in the
narrative.
Highly recommend it for history buffs. :)

The Crusades. At least set then. Like 1100 or so. A knight that
is an important Baron back in the Mideast finds out he has a son
back in France he knew nothing about. The kid is a blacksmith
and an swordsmith.
It's s complex story with great battle scenes including the
siege of Jerusalem and the scope of the picture is really epic.
They do not make movies like this anymore, seriously! It was
made in 2003 and Ridley Scott put in Cecil B. DeMille type scale
in the production. Great acting as well. Liam Neeson as the
returning knight and he is awesome in it.\
