We done got us a full blown tropical storm set down on top of
us! Glad I bought some beers!

We are getting a lot of rain....That is all. My boots and socks
are soaked.

No, not really. Messy. The counties south of us have had some
minor flooding. But nothing terrible. No lives lost. It’s all
moving northeast now.

East of Houston, them folks are getting hammered. Major flooding
all the way to Louisiana. Some areas getting more rain than they
did during Harvey. And it’s still coming down in sheets. Got
more coming too. My heart goes out to them. Reckon we’ll be
buying more groceries to head their way this weekend. 😢

We finally got some rain last night! Everything is brown and
crunchy... not a huge deal except that the woods are a
tinderbox after Michael... if this place catches on fire
there’s gonna be trouble... send some of that rain this way,
please?

That’s how it was here all summer. We’re out of drought mode now
though. Hope you get some more wet stuff soon to bring the green
back!

Gone from nasty to flooding. Damn storm looped back around and
now Houston is flooding big time.
