I told the cretin he should stand to sing... basic baby steps
in vocals... pre vocals 101. Projection, support, intonation
all suck from seated... he fucking argued that?! The hell?
I’m not Pavarotti... I will endeavor to employ every technique
to sound my best when I open my trap... every flippin time I
open my pipes, especially if I’m recording... if you aren’t
putting everything you have into it, stfu! Gtfo! I don’t want
to listen to ANYONES half sharted cast offs... then he says
Phil told him everyone should have me on ignore... fuck him,
phuck Phil... phuck HC... oh, I just asked the wife to pick me
up a mic stand on the way home... she, be8ng a forward thinking
human, bought a real one... very heavy tripod base, on stage...
impressive! Counterbalanced with a real weight! Heavy,
Solid, legs, hinges, and base... negating the need for such
glamorous stage accoutrements such as toilet seat microphone
counterbalances or 55 gal oil drum, pick holders... fucking
       amateurs

Hey.....55 gallon drums make for good reverb tanks in a pinch.
I don’t need a ignore button for Deepshit. I see his name, I
       skip his posts.
I’v Never recorded any good vocals, but the best ones I did were
with the mic positioned over my head singing up to the mic.

The head (bathroom) in my USN electronics school barracks had
AWESOME reverb. Me and a couple other guys used to record in
       there all the time.

The bathroom across from my music room has decent slapback
properties. I've recorded some vocals in it before.

The Prodigal returned again yesterday. Basket of laundry in his
arms. I broke out the deep fryer, fried up a load of chicken
breasts and thighs. Roasted some quartered red potatoes,
slathered in olive oil, kosher salt, fresh ground pepper. Fresh
snapped green beans and fresh corn on the cob... which I nuke
for 4 minutes an ear. I’ve come to like corn on the cob prepared
this way. Nuke it in the shuck, then cut off the stalk end. Grab
it by the silk end and just shake it for a little bit and it
slides right out and the silks stay in shuck. Butter it and eat
like a king. A fresh fruit salad for dessert. A vigorous
admonishment was levied by the wife however. She strongly
suggested he find a laundromat nearby, as spending most of his
visit time, she is in the laundry room. Not her idea of quality
       time.
       ;D
