       This time next week

       The Lad will be ensconced at college. Moving him up there next
       Saturday.
       The wife is already melting down a bit. A large bit. :'(
       I’ll miss him terribly as well, but youngun’s gotta go find
       their way in this world. He’ll be fine. It’s us old folks that
       will do the majority of the “missin’“.
       Feeling a bit blue. I of course have valid concerns. But then
       this all goes with the territory. I haven’t a scale to measure
       the joy he’s given me.
