I'm sorry to play one-upmanship on you---but---
At 4AM, Cinny showed me that half the circuits in our house were
way underpowered. The working circuits measured at 15%
OVERpowered. 15 minutes later, the transfomer in my
next-door-neighbor's back yard went ZZZZZPOP!
Just got power back on. A few circuits in our house aren't
working right.

How’s your fall related injury?
Sorry about your electrical issues. Sounds like you might have
some damage in your electrical panel. Some of the breakers may
have been damaged by the surge. Send me your microwave and I’ll
check it out for ya C:-)

I mighta cracked a couple ribs. Kinda feels like it. NOT going
to the doctor, wadda they gonna do? I'll be miserable for a
while, then it'll get better.
We replaced our old microwave with a Hamilton Beach model from
WalMart for ~$130 a couple years ago. The clock sucks but
otherwise it's great

From what I can tell, it's the magnetron that's quit in my
microwave. Got a LG repair center close by. Sounds like $65 fix.
better than more I guess.
Not much to be done about cracked ribs accept to suffer for a
couple of weeks. Doc might be able to help you out with pain
meds and antibiotics. You don't want to go all septic and shit.
That shit can kill you.

Swelling's down, was able to sleep more comfortably last night.
On the mend.
Replaced a twin 15A breaker that was weak, all better.
Once had the magnetron out of an AN/USM-10 surface/air radar
transmitter. Was great for "magnet fishing" but don't get it
near your VHS or cassette tapes! (early 80s)

Glad you’re feeling better. Cool that your electrical issues
were simply fixed.
I imagine that magnetron was good for degaussing recording
heads.
