       Squier Mini
       By: guest11 Date: July 27, 2019, 2:08 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       It's a 34 1/2" long Strat with a 22 1/2" scale---bought it used
locally off Facebook Marketplace for <$50---needed a saddle and
an output jack nut, serious cleaning, strings and a
set-up---otherwise everything works---ground the logo off the
headstock and applied a Danocaster decal from AJ---it's going to
my adopted granddaughter Ruah with an amp I cobbled together out
of junk Boss and Fender solid state parts---a cord, a strap and
a few picks---I seem to be really getting off on giving guitars
away lately, this is like the 4th one with more in the works.

You got a big heart Dano. And a real soft spot for
       Ruah.[emoji173] That's a good thing. generosity is it's own
reward..I'm sure she'll be absolutely thrilled.
My brother bought his youngest one of those 3/4 scale Strats a
long time ago. I gave him some rudimentary lessons on it, but he
didn't stick with it. Always had trouble with focusing on
things. He mostly just liked making a racket with it.
Glad you found a use for at least one of the labels. ;D

I guess if I'd had them done with "Danotone" instead of "Caster"
       that woulda been better. :(
Tickled that yer gonna use 'em anyway.
Any chance we could get pics when you start assembly? Would make
a cool thread. Sounds like it gonna be a cool guitar!
