       we have water here
       LOTS of water
you cannot walk half a mile on a dry day in a straight line and
keep your feet dry (if not drown, or swim)

Understand now. Michigan. Land of a lotta lakes. I heard you are
never more than 7 miles from a body of water anywhere in the
state . The Lad just flew back from near Kalamazoo today.

The “Lad”, is my wife’s Great Nephew. We raised him from one
week old. His birth father has lived in Michigan since before
the Lad was born though. He was on board from the get go with us
raising the boy though. He was 17 when the boy was born. It’s a
complex, long story. The Lad sees him for a week or so a year.
       It’s all good.
