It could be hotter

...but it’s hot enough. Heat index of 110 today. I had a busy
weekend with heat related breakdowns.
I’m tired men. Still on call until Friday. I’m a grouchy bastard
when I’m on call. :(

Only 88o here today---woke up to 57o! Unseasonably cool
overnight temps lately. Makes it easy to get things done outside
before it gets too hot and I have to go hide. Confusing my
veggie plants all to hell though.

And now....there’ a good chance of a tropical storm blowing it’s
ass in here come the weekend.
Fuck me to tears.

It's been cold and quite wet here for the last six weeks or so.
I was talking to bro out at the Dinklefarm, and there's not
going to be much of a harvest this year.
Most of the crops are turning yellow from sitting in water.
Bro said driving the sprayer in the mud is a bit like driving a
boat. Turning the steering wheel does nothing - you pretty much
have to steer with the individual wheel brakes.
Oh well, they can't all be gems, I guess. :-\

This year's rotation includes canola, brown oats, barley and
field peas.

I don't believe the growing season is long enough for rice
around here. ???
Even if it doesn't freeze, not much grows after the beginning of
September.
I think it gets too cold at night. >:(
