Heading out to Dinkleville today for a weekend long jam session

Aka the Camp n' Jam.
The weather doesn't look so good for Saturday, but today looks
pretty good.
I don't actually camp. I have no trailer/rv, and I'm definitely
not tenting it. :P
I do, however, have a designated driver, so at least I can
safely partake in substances that are bad for your health and
retention of your driver's license. ;D
I pretty much always have a good time at Ye Olde Camp 'n Jam. I
am hoping that this year will be no different.

We've had a lot of rain this year. I expect the skeeters to be
about the size of Shetland ponies, or so.
And they'll likely have big, gnashing teeth. ;D

delaware had bird sized squitoes.. they left bruises where they
landed... i found a locally produced juice that works to
repel... lemonrass oil, clove oil, in a little rubbing
alcohol.. spray it on, it smells good, and works for hours
without nasty chems...

I try to avoid deet when I can, but sometimes I just have to
say, "Fuck it! I can't deal with this anymore!" and spray the
crap on myself.
I usually do the long sleeves and long pants thing unless it's
hot out.
Never had much luck with non deet solutions. :(

florida skeeters avoid clove oil. all the local biting flies
as well. but be forewarned, it will feel hot on delicate skin
so its best applied to clothing, socks, hats, facial hair,
etc... and in stark contrast to comments ive heard about deet
products, clove oil frequently prompts comments about smelling
“good enough to eat”, or similar which is ok, most of the
time...

hope you have a ball at the jam Dan! Hope the skeeters are
tolerable.
The local Triple A ball team here are named The Skeeters.
it's blistering ass hot here right now, and for the next week at
least, no chance of rain. So that's a plus for keeping the
skeeters down. But rough on the plant life and old men like me.

I had an absolute blast, Jim.
It was a weekend of too much good food, too much beer/other
things (in a good way ;) ), a lot of mediocre to great music
and not enough sleep.
I'll post some vids once I get them sorted/edited and uploaded.
