I don't grill too often, but when I do, I just use one of those
cast iron dealies that sits on a stove burner.
I know - I know... ::)

I own one of those as well. Works pretty well when I can’t get
outside due to inclement weather.

Many is the time I've cleared a path on my deck through 3' of
snow to get to my charcoal grill! My neighbors think I'm kinda
"tetched"---how little they know---
Down to 2 grills presently, a standard big Weber kettle and a
lil Smokie Joe. My wonderful big Brinkmann Pitmaster smoker
finally rotted out after sitting outside for some 16 years.
Plans are to replace it soon, possibly with an electric unit so
I don't have to tend it so closely. We old fellers need our
naps, nome sane?
Still haven't made it to the market for those steaks I want.
Been REAL busy with working on the yard and gardens now that the
incessant rain has ceased for a minute. Mowed grass today,
currently taking a break before I go restring the weed whip and
do the trimming. Cinny's nagging me to take it easy. Yeah.
Right. Got weeding to do, compost to turn.
Meanwhile, enjoying some fine Molson in solidarity with my near
neighbors to the north who are celebrating Canada Day. Cheers,
ya know? Eh? Shuddup!

It does indeed! Have used it many times. Lots of pecan orchards
down here. I grill veggies all the time too, so grillin is not
an art exclusive to carnivores. Load up a skewer with sliced
squash, peppers, ‘maters, mushrooms, and corn. Eat like a king!
;)
