Belay that shit Sailor! It’s your fault! If I hadn’t been up so
late playing that Tele and drinking beer, I wouldn’t feel so
       lazy today!

I’ve rusted out several Smokey Joe’s myself. I’ve got an Aussie
rollabout I use when I want woodsmoke, which is usually. The gas
grill is convenient, and easy to control the heat, especially
when cooking different things at once. I grill veggies a lot as
well. I know you have a corksniffin’ thang about gas grills, but
       I love ya anyway.

       yeah...good luck with THAT!
got clearance from the boss to purchase some prime steaks
tomorrow AM---the local supermarket puts out the
going-out-of-date meat at 8AM or so, you gotta be there to catch
the best of it---ribeyes for $6 or $7/lb---I intend to be there
and they will be grilled over proper Kingsford briquettes!

You go Boy! Our local Kroger has a reduced meat section. It's
amazing how people see a dark steak and think there's something
wrong with it, yet they'll go to a steak house and pay out the
nose for "Aged" beef. Those ribeyes I bought yesterday came out
of the reduced section...Ended up costing me $5 a lb.
All Aged beef is, is beef they have allowed to rot, to an
       extent. Peeps are stoopid.
On board with kingsford charcoal though. I also use oak or
mesquite, and just let it burn down for a couple of hours until
       it is essentially charcoal.
