You gotta put a 4-way in that thing, I think it'll blow your
mind. Wish I'd had one when I put it together.

With a four way switch, what are the pickup configs in the
       different positions?

Sounds interesting. Any particular brand switches you like? I
may order one and consider doing that next time I restring it.

I'm making an order from MojoTone soon---they have their own
4-way that they say is identical to the Oak Grigsby (Fender
supplier) switch for less than half the price ($7 as opposed to
&15.95). I'll get you one and send it along. Might be a week or
       three, stand by.

Speak plainly. Don't bang on about passive aggression when you
talk stuff like this. Let me be very plain---I'm sick of being
called a nazi because I don't agree with those who hold extreme
(as I consider) positions, and I've been 100% upfront about it.
I've also said, several times, that I don't WANT to be angry.
Your answer so far has been to cut me off. That's your choice,
do what you will---but don't accuse ME of being passive
aggressive when your move is to withdraw and sling undefined
       barbs.

Hey Dano you done me a whopper of a favor already...No need to
order that switch for me. if I get ready to do that mod, I'll
order the switch myself and ask you for a simple schematic. I'm
loving the instrument as is already. Everyday I plug it in and
try it out through different amp models and effects chains. I'm
far from the point of needing more options.
But thanks just the same! O0

Don't be gettin' all up in my shit Dan. I realize you are a
generous guy, I appreciate that about you, and the incredible
kindness you have shown me. You're trying to be kind and
       generous now. Understood.
Now understand this...You buy the switch. You send the switch to
me. I then feel obligated to take the guitar apart and install
the switch...While I'm handy with a soldering iron, and could
pull this off....I don't want to. YOU put this guitar together
       and sent it to me.
it already has sentimental value to me. Other than replacing
strings, or fixing something if it's broke, I want this guitar
to stay in the exact condition it was when I received it.

I'm not. Typing is such a poor way of communicating---nuances do
not exist. Too easy to be misunderstood.
You don't want it, you don't have to have it. My perspective is,
"It's just a guitar"--these things are so modular, so
modifiable---maybe that's part of the reason I own 11 Strats!
Not trying to put any pressure on you. It's an easy mod that
won't change the appearance or anything else besides another
       switch position.
Maybe we just need to build you another Tele---
