Consider, I've been a guitar nerd since the 60s---
BTW, saw your post at TOOJ---fyi, I've been off my HC ban for
weeks, just don't post there much anymore, every word I say is
microscrutinized by Emperor Phil and I've had a bellyful of him!
Look at Fender's Mustang.
I don’t post much at HC either, particularly at OJ. That whole
bunch of shit with your FK build turned me off to the joint in
general.
Now Deepends is in the acoustic guitar forum, being an
expert on every facet of acoustic guitar construction,
troubleshooting and repair---essentially parroting what Freeman
says, assuring him (FK) he's right (the sheer fucking
GALL!)---Balthashit Munoz is as bipolar, swaggering and stupid
as ever---some of the more rational regulars seem to be laying
WAY back---and Mikeo, bless his heart, is telling the same seven
stories we've heard so many times, plus a report every time his
dog poops, with the requisite spelling and grammar
infractions---
It's not much changed.

Nope, nothing has changed there at all, except for fewer
posters. Mikey is alright except for the nagging habit of one
upmanship anytime someone posts something about a guitar. He
either has one of those, or does not own one “because”....

spotted a local ad for a a Squier Bass VI
went over, and took it
guy had 60+ guitars and never played the Bass VI
it's from 2015, but already made in Indonesia
I tinted the fretboard a bit darker to make it look like
rosewood
dulled the polyurethane finish to give it a more satin sheen
did a little work on the nut
adjusted the trem and fixed the bridge in the posts
tweaked the trussrod
adjusted string height and intonated the bridge (the low E is
still sharp above 10th fret)
hmmm, it's fine for now
needs new strings, the low E and A strings are a bit floppy, I'm
going to get heavier strings
