Facebook?

I swore I never would...but I did, about 10 days ago. It's
turning out to be a lot more useful than I imagined. Already had
my first scam attempted on me, too!
Dudely and I "friended" right away.
Anybody else on there?

I sort of am. Under a nom de Guerre. The only reason I got on it
was to keep up with a favorite niece and her little one. So I
very rarely post anything at all. Part of the reason I don’t
really interact there is that my sister found out I was on there
and then a bunch of my cousins found out. All females. So I
pretty much withdrew, stopped following anyone except the niece,
and generally am absent from there. I might shut down my
presence altogether, in favor of a new “me on there. But I
probably would stir up some shit with loved ones if I
did.😞

Hell if I know. After sleeping on it, I decided I’d rather the
place stay as it is. Out of the vast webiverse and quiet and
peaceful like it is.’ If they don’t know we’re here they can’t
spill shit on the linoleum. 😬

[/quote]Probably the best choice, for exactly the reasons you
stated. I think I've posted once each on HC and TOOJ in the last
several weeks---lo and behold, my blood pressure is measurably
lower and more stable! Howboutdat. The Basement is a peaceful
place.
