Thank the strong force. Worst week on call I've had in a long
time. A lot of really long days and nights. A lot of late night
calls, bad compressors, heat related breakdowns and oil
problems. I'm beat! ^-^
Gonna get some shuteye, sleep late, and tomorrow take the wife
to the Van Gogh exhibit at the MFA. 50 of his paintings. My wife
has been a true believer in his work as long as I've known her,
and this is the biggest collection of his work to ever tour the
US in her lifetime. Bought the tickets months ago, and she's
pumped beyond belief. I reckon we've seen every print, every
movie, and she's read, and owns every book about him. It's hard
to get a smile on her face, but she's grinnin' like all get out
now.
Oh yeah...Our 34th anniversary was yesterday....For like 20
years we bought big gifts for each other every
year.....Now...hey it's a card and a kiss.....Maybe
more...Sometimes...But I was on call and beat so we ate a couple
of the candies I bought her and just hit the hay....But that was
11 at night and I'd only bean home an hour.......Time and
age....

I find marriage to be a wonderful institution...and I rather
enjy being institutionalized! ;D
