not much to report this weekend... well, a first... i had
four beautiful young women help me set up the dome, hang the
gongs and set up my entire rig... naked... two were yoga
teachers... the group hug pic will not be published, thank you
for understanding. all the teachers and speakers were female
and easily outnumbered the brave few males that attended...
yes, the creek area is clothing optional... i met an
exquisitely stunning egyptian yoga instructor that insisted we
were joined in a past life. she became a regular companion
through the festival and i cant say having that particular 33
year old attached to my person was anything but a pleasure. the
two main women organizers, late twenties early thirties, and a
particularly interesting photographer my own age became a
nuclear group during the event. im becoming extremely
spoiled...

You're killin' me..... ;D

you need to free up a weekend and come relax a bit... it really
is getting interesting... playing for panama citys earth day
celebration this weekend and i believe washington dc is after
that... oh... the egyptian yoga instructor offered to get
me into two high end sound healing venues in asheville... a
promoter in atlanta... i have to admit, i had a couple pull me
aside to thank me... two years ago they heard me play and we
talked for a while afterwards. later, they came to another event
and said that a couple overheard conversations and again
conversing with them, turned their lives around, 180 degrees for
the better, for their whole family. you cant touch that with
money... not even close.

yesterday, 151,600 people thought they had a “tomorrow” and
instead found out whats beyond the veil by direct experience...
dont wait for the perfect day, or when things are “set”... for
it never happens until we make it happen. in the blink of an
eye, everything changes.

Duly noted Dudely. I know what you are saying Man. If you don't
do it now, there may not be a chance tomorrow. Thing is, I have
an ailing wife as well. Only her ailments are psychological.
While it would be probably cathartic and helpful for me to spill
my guts about the situation, I can't see where it would serve
any real purpose. Suffice to say, I'm not free to just take off
and follow any dreams now. I've her well being and the Lad's to
consider. I daydream all the time about having real freedom.
Being able to just drop these chains on me and hit the road,
take my chances on something. I'm the breadwinner here though.

next stop, Catharsis on the Mall, a vigil for healing... i
understand ambition is not healthy, but i want a picture from
this excursion... a simple thing for my own mental health,
just a pic of me, holding my meditating donald trump buddha in
my hand, with the white house behind me, donny boy there (or
playing golf in floriduh) either way... no photocropy... real
deal... beside the washington monument... i also plan on
marching in the kazoo revolution parade... burners bringing the
love to DC! the joyful revolution has begun!

adressing your earlier poast:
no, but then again... i gave over 20 years of my life helping
folks with mental and physical involvements... my primary tools
are compassion, empathy and music. it was my profession for 19
years until the government decided money over peoples needs...
fuck that sentiment. thats not too zen, but thats real...
being of service, helping all creatures that are in need, is my
path. it has been so since i was a child.. i am still that
child. i am fortunate in that the universe has provided me a
place, safe, warm and inviting. food and sustenance enough and
laughter from my children... it has not always been so for me
so while i can, i will reach as many as i am able... you are
just as welcome as any but i respect your will, either way.
please understand i dont see the performance of what i see as my
gifts as any sort of imposition, its what i live to do... it is
simply my joy in life and ranks right up there with standing in
the rain with my face to the heavens... kissed by the source of
life... what you see as unloading a burden to you is like
unwrapping a gift for me... perception is everything brother...
love ya, man...

my former assistant is back from his rainbow experience in
hawaii and anxious to go to work. we are looking at having him
help at the sanctuary when we aren’t traveling/gonging...
besides that, the kids a good influence on me... good
looking, pleasant young man, excellent drummer and showman...
the women love him and hes a romantic... waiting on the one...
so they chase him even harder... confident without the ego.
im glad to have him back on board, a load off my mind as well as
my back.
a festival in kentucky in june... playthink... with the
butterfly ministry tribe and hes telling me the sponsors are
noticing... firefly has offered 10g for the butterfly/gong
village art experience and its beginning to look like i may
realize my intention of taking over the financial responsibility
for our animal sanctuary... *blows on dice and grins*
