Dinner tonight

Kinda sad that this was the only thing I could come with to post
today....
grilling shrimp, tenderloin filets and 3 different varieties of
squash and peppers.
Was good though..

I actually enjoy seeing this sort of thing. And it makes you
seem a bit more human, rather than just some text statements and
emojis.

Dave, I think Jim Barret is about the most human, down to earth,
guy I have ever encountered on the webz,.
I think he pours out his heart and soul in his posts...He,
IMHO, hs always shared his humbleness, and given insight to his
personal life, and sacrifices he has made for his family...
I never considered him just emojis and text either.
The guy is a fuckin' Prince among men... :)

i love you too Man..U too...have always been real to me. A joy
to post with, a man who always speaks his mind...With a kind,
gentle side...You also have shared enormously of your life with
me and others...I feel I may know more about you than any other
person I've ever had the privilege to know on the Web. You're
also, the funniest man on the web. One of the world's great wits
and I mean that. Can't count the belly laughs you've given me
Bro.
Thanks for being you!

[/quote] It was decent grub. I try something different
everytime I grill. This time I cut the squash a little thicker
than normal and just bathed it in a Olive oil vinaigrette with a
little bit of Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper.
The shrimp I just hit with a little garlic sea salt, pepper and
squeezed lime juice over them.
just salt and pepper on the filets.

I guess I was thinking of the anonymous nature - no voice or eye
contact. But yes, I enjoy you guys. We live in interesting
times.
Elon Musk said today there won't be steering wheels in cars in
20 years.

I knew exactly what you meant Dave. There is an anonymous
quality to most forums, and a lot of deceit as well. I feel very
fortunate insofar as the members of this Forum all seem to be
representing their true selves in here.
For the most part...The other part being the, well if I can
borrow a phrase from El Presidente, the "Locker Room" humor
Luke, I, and sometimes Bucky tend to spontaneously erupt into.
All in fun of course.
Elon Musk is a visionary in my book. He may be spot on about all
forms of transportation being fully autonomous in 20 years, or
maybe less.
If perfected and the systems can be guaranteed hack proof, it
would surely cut down on accidents. Probably be all electric
ones as well.
But how damned boring. I love driving (For Pleasure...the
driving I do at work wears me out).
Luke...If the government sez they are coming for the steering
wheel on your BMW...I'll come a'runnin' with cold steel and hot
lead. We'll go down together in vainglorious defeat.

Dave, I know exactly what you meant to...I also always
appreciated the pics of your house, gear, bird feeders too,
trips,
you have a cool place...and you live an interesting, creative
life.
Jim, that is so funny, I was thinking the same thing..a BMW with
no steering wheel...
yrsterday I went for my Opthamolgist visit..they dilated my
eyes...
It was real bright and sunny out..I was driving home like
Mr.Magoo..had to stop and put up my top so I can see..
Saturday, the guy who works on my car hired a young guy to wash
wax and detail cars..I got mine done..
He only charged me 30.00..
I tipped the kid out another $10..
Going rate around here for a full detail is about a Bejamin.
