I like dark roasts, but my tastes in coffees are pedestrian I
guess. Folgers, Maxwell House, kroger brand. Not picky and
certainly not an aficionado.

I typically make one morning cup of coffee in my Black & Decker
Brew n' Go. Paid around $20 maybe 15 years ago. I prefer
medium roast Arabica beans. I'm currently drinking the store
brand from Trader Joe's. I buy half gallons of whole chocolate
milk and add a bit (heated in the microwave). I also use 2
packets of Splenda (I know, horrors).

I can't really call myself a connoisseur or aficionado, either.
A few years back my buddy gave me a coffee grinder for a
present, so I used to grind my own beans everyday. That all
changed about a year ago when my neighbours gave me their old
Tassimo machine. It's a little expensive to run and it produces
a lot of non recyclable plastic waste, but it makes such good
coffee that I can't seem to give it up.
One of my (very) guilty pleasures, I suppose.

I've never been much of a tea drinker, but someday I may have to
adapt.
There's a family history of a-fib, and the first thing they tell
you is no stimulants. Until (if) that day, I shall go on
guzzling coffee while I can.

Mama D had one of those when she lived at the Dinklefarm. It
made a pretty decent cup, as I recall.

The Missus and The Lad both use the Keurig. I still use the Mr.
Coffee thing. Have it set up on timer so I have a cup ready when
i wake. I'll drink that while watching the local news, then fill
a go cup half full for the ride into the valley of steel and
concrete. that will be the remainder in the pot, and all the
coffee I drink the rest of the day.
Used to be, I'd fill up a thermos and take it with me. Drain it
over the course of the day, and sometimes grab more cups
different places during the day. That was when i was a habitual
pot smoker though. After i quit smoking pot...My need for an aid
to stay awake diminished over time. That combined with high
blood pressure dictated a major cutback on caffeine.
